The Party

We’ll be gathering for a celebration at one of our favorite local spots—a charming gelato shop right next to our home. We’ve spent many hours sitting out in the sun, running around with the dogs, and eating more gelato than we should! We can’t wait to share this spot with you and be reminded of your love for us every time we walk by.

The reception space is a large grassy area backed up to a creek with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the evening. We’ll have lawn games, table games, and lots of comfy seating for eating, chatting, and enjoying the fall weather. Dinner will be served from a few of our favorite food trucks, and we’ll have a variety of snacks and desserts throughout the evening (yes, gelato included!).

Since we’ll be coming straight from our ceremony, we’ll still be dressed up—and we’ll be making our entrance as newlyweds once everyone has arrived! Though it’s a more relaxed and casual gathering than a standard reception, we’re still planning to include a few classic wedding moments: we’ll share our first dance on the grass, cut a cake together, and enjoy a few sweet traditions throughout the night.
We’re also bringing along a photographer to help us capture the magic—big and small—so we can remember this celebration with all of you for years to come.
